Terms of use

Shootlo is a marketplace that connects customers with independent, verified photographers and videographers. We check photographers before they can take jobs, handle booking and payment, and support you if something goes wrong. Photographers are independent professionals, not our employees, and they provide the shoot.

• You sign in with a mobile number you own and can receive codes on.
• You must be 18 or older, or book with a parent or guardian.
• Keep your phone secure. Bookings made from your account are treated as yours.

• Prices, including any rush fee and add-ons, are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• You pay through Razorpay once a photographer has accepted your request. Nothing is charged while we look for one, and if nobody is free, nothing is charged at all.
• We collect the payment and pass the photographer their share after your photos are delivered.
• A booking is confirmed when a photographer accepts it. If nobody is available, we refund you in full.

Cancellations, no-shows and refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy.

• Meet your photographer at the booked place, which must be a public or permitted location.
• Share your 4-digit start code only once you've met in person. The shoot time starts when the code is entered.
• Some places have their own rules, fees or permit requirements (for example, no tripods or drones). We show known rules when you book; you and the photographer must follow them.
• Treat each other with respect. Either side may end a shoot that becomes unsafe and should contact us straight away.

• Previews are normally sent within 2 hours of the shoot and the full gallery within 24 hours, unless the package says otherwise.
• You may use delivered photos and videos for any personal purpose, including sharing them on social media.
• Commercial use (advertising, resale) needs the photographer's written permission.
• Photographers may show your photos in their portfolio or on Shootlo only with your permission.
• Download your gallery soon after delivery. Gallery links are hosted by your photographer and may not stay online forever.

• Every approved photographer has a public profile that customers can open before booking: their photo, name, bio, Instagram handle, what they shoot, languages, ratings and number of shoots.
• The profile shows photos from the portfolio the photographer submitted when they applied. By applying, photographers agree to this and confirm they have the right to show that work.
• Profiles never show a photographer's phone number, email, location or earnings, and never show customers' galleries.
• Photographers can ask us to remove any portfolio photo, or their whole profile, at any time.

• Only suggest or confirm places you know, where photography is allowed. Don't suggest private property without the owner's permission, or places where photography is banned.
• Your first name is shown with your suggestion. Your phone number and email are never shown.
• The Shootlo team decides which spots go live, and may edit their name, area and rules. We can remove a spot at any time.
• When a spot you suggested goes live, a customer gets a ₹100 coupon, valid for 180 days on one booking and not exchangeable for cash; a photographer gets ₹100 with their next payout. One reward per spot, to the first person who suggested it.
• A coupon is spent when the booking it's applied to is paid. If that booking is later cancelled, the refund is of what you paid, and the coupon isn't reissued.
• We may withhold rewards for fake suggestions or votes, or votes from several accounts by the same person.

• Arrange or pay for Shootlo bookings outside the platform to avoid fees.
• Request anything illegal, unsafe, sexually explicit, or that invades other people's privacy.
• Misuse the service, including false bookings, fraudulent payments or chargebacks, or harassing photographers or our team.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

We work hard to verify photographers and keep the service running, but we can't guarantee a particular artistic result or that a photographer will always be available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Contact us first. Details of our grievance officer are on the contact page. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Mysuru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, subject to your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms. The version shown when you book applies to that booking.
